The SheldwicH WI

I am the President of Sheldwich WI, co-founded back in 2009 with Laura and Rebecca, our gorgeous Secretary and Treasurer. 

I am Mum to Timothy and Christian (16 and 12) and wifelet to Jamie.  I work in London for the UK's biggest entertainment advertising and marketing agency, specialising in theatre.  When I'm not up in Luvvieland, I'm to be found at our new home in Eastling (having recently moved from Sheldwich after 7 happy years.) 

I was born in Cornwall and still consider myself A Cornish Maid, though East Kent comes a close second in my affections.  I am evangelical about all things Cornish and adore clotted cream, pasties, surfing (yes, reallly!) and the St Ives artists. In my spare time I enjoy entertaining at home and collecting shoes (!) I am a closet opera fan and secretly watch X factor too.   I seem destined to watch sport  played by the men in my life (rugby, cricket, golf) but have been known to  serve a mean volley on the tennis court. Oh, and there is a novel set in a country village life bursting to come out some time soon!
