The SheldwicH WI

Hello, I am thoroughly enjoying sheldwich wi! I am married to Richard and have one daughter Esme who is 3. I work part time as a staff nurse at a hospice in Northfleet. I am currently studying for a diploma in Reflexology, hopefully by December this year! x

Hi I'm Rebecca and I'm the treasurer for Sheldwich WI. Really enjoying the newly formed WI and I can't wait to make Jam and love singing Jerusalem!! 

I'm a busy mother of four to Scarlett 12, Rupert 10, Florence and Daisy soon to be 4, (see my profile picture) I'm wife to Oliver and chief dog walker to Molly the family's much loved faithful black lab. I also work 3 days a week doing the accounts for a  local DIY store.

I love spending time with my family, at home, in my little veggie plot and  walking Molly in the Woods.

I also have a double if you see me and I don't recognise you it's my TWIN sister Libbie.

The family secret is that I am by birth an Argentine!!! My parents were both Brits but I was born in Buenos Aires so am automatically an Argentine citizen though the only passport I ever had expired about 45 years ago! I had a peripatetic childhood in South America, the UK, USA and Cambodia so I attended 5 different schools over 8 years.

Since settling in East Kent after university I have worked for NatWest but gave it up to have children- far too many of them (4) and then retrained as a gardener through Hadlow College and as an Anglican Lay Minister through Spurgeons College. My children think I am really boring!

To make up for the fact I couldn't own pets I have a menagerie now of chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and tortoises.
